Media Buy Back

XMA has introduced a service for the safe disposal of obsolete or surplus media.  With the increasing costs and pressures on the environmental front with regard to the friendly disposal of waste, the established method for the disposal of computer data media (magnetic tape) either land fill or incineration has become less acceptable.

With this in mind XMA has introduced a program that allows old media to be reprocessed and recycled ready for “short term” re-use.  XMA can organise the collection (free of charge) and delivery back to our Data Centre in Reading where we will reprocess.

We are able to provide certification that the data on this media has been 100% erased and will never be able to be re-formatted. We are delighted to welcome clients down to our facility to validate this is necessary.
